Johnston-Dubbs Insurance can trace its roots back seventy years to the 1930s, when William and Elizabeth Rundell founded the Rundell Insurance Agency on the corner of Euclid and 3 rd Streets in East Toledo. The Rundells sold their agency in 1948 to Thomas E. Johnston, and the agency was renamed the Tom Johnston Insurance Agency. In 1962, Mr. Johnston and Clair W. Langmaid, Sr., merged their agencies into the Johnston-Langmaid Insurance Agency, Inc, and relocated to 2460 Navarre Avenue in Oregon, Ohio.

Marvin K. Dubbs Jr. joined the agency in 1980, after three years with Blue Cross of Northwest Ohio. He was promoted to the position of president in 1984, and in July of 1990, the agency took on the name it holds today; Johnston-Dubbs Insurance Agency, Inc. In November of 2004, Johnston-Dubbs relocated to 4350 Navarre Avenue in Oregon, Ohio.

Throughout the years, Johnston-Dubbs has continued to grow and expand, and we’re proud to have built lasting relationships with our clients, many over a span of twenty to thirty years.
